Thank you for visiting Norwood Performance Horses, owned and operated by Bill and Kelli Norwood. We are located at Dr. Wayne and Judy Clark's beauitful Cottonwood Ranch in La Cresta, California, home of the legendary Commandalena (LTE: 119,247.00). We proudly offer the highest quality of reining training and horse care in the industry. At Norwood Performance Horses attention to detail, dedication, hardwork, patience and consistency foster results, whether with the open horses or non-pros. Horses are like people, they are all different and expect to be treated fairly and with respect. Bill's program is founded on approaching each horse as an individual; there is no one way or no way, but the way of the horse.
Bill is a NRHA top professional rider, specializing in the open futurity and derby prospects. We also welcome Non Pro riders and are known for helping our Non Pros achieve their goals in the show pen while enjoying and having fun in this great sport. When it comes either to competing in the professional arena of the reining horse industry, or preparing a horse and coaching a Non Pro to doing their personal best, Bill is the one who can help you achieve your goals.
We have a brand new 20 stall show barn equipped with large 12 x 16 stalls and an additional California barn equipped with 21 - 12x24 stalls. A 150 x 300 groomed arena and several trails for you to cool down your reiner or enjoy on your weekend trail horse. We are dedicated to breeding, raising and training some of the finest reining horses available in today’s marketplace.
We would like to invite you to stop by and see the ranch, meet the stunning Commandalena, see his talented and good-looking offspring and experience Norwood Performance Horses first hand. Bill's passion for the sport of reining and TRUE love for horses brought him over to the states from Australia. To learn more about Bill Norwood please visit our Bio page.
